What Features Are Standard on the 2022 Nissan Altima?

The Nissan Altima S-and all the trims that follow-share a series of impressive specifications. Let's check them out together.

First up is space. If you didn't think a sedan could be spacious, just wait until you see the Altima. This stylish ride has plenty of functionality to go along with its form, including 15.4 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the second row. Traveling alone or as a duo? Just fold down the rear seats to access a total of 42.9 cubic feet of volume. Weekend road trip to the Cape, anyone?

Speaking of road trips and cargo, the Altima S comes standard with keyless entry. If your keys are buried deep inside your purse between your sunglasses and that juicy beach read, you won't have to call a search party. Simply press the door handle and you're in.

Once you hit the open road, the Nissan Altima S will get on the lookout for oncoming obstacles with standard Intelligent Forward Collision Warning. If the accompanying camera detects a potential collision, it'll send both audible and visual warnings. In the event you don't react, it'll automatically apply the brakes.

Nissan Altima SV: An Elevated Interior

Next in the Altima trim lineup is the SV. Drivers will find plenty of enticing additions within this trim, particularly in regard to the interior cabin.

The steering wheel, for instance, is now optional leather wrapped for premium comfort. The driver's chair sees changes, too, with an 8-way power adjustable driver's seat.

Continuing our interior tour, the Altima SV is the first of these trims that includes standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. Simply connect your compatible device to send and receive text messages, pick the ultimate playlist, and much more. Nissan Altima SR: Unleash Your Inner Athlete

If you're a thrill seeker with a keen eye for style, you'll love the Nissan Altima SR. Why? Well, because this trim brings a series of sporty upgrades to the table, including 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

Just like the Altima SV, the SR can be outfitted with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD). In doing so, your ride will be ready to tackle all sorts of weather conditions while also boasting 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.

The SR is also available in an FWD-only option, known as the SR VC-Turbo. This is where you'll find maximum power, up to 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, specifically.

While the trims that follow will share many of the SR trim's specifications, this trim does offer one package that's uniquely its own: the SR Midnight Edition. This striking option is sure to turn heads with design choices such as:

2022 Nissan Altima SL & Platinum: A Sedan Fit for Royalty
