When you're getting ready to service your ride near Dartmouth, New Bedford, or Fall River, Massachusetts, sticking to a schedule is important. Why? Because it's those schedules, precisely, that change your vehicle's overall condition and subsequently keep you on the road longer. That's why our team at Dartmouth Nissan is here to help.

We've put together this overview of the Nissan TITAN maintenance schedule so you can easily keep better track of your vehicle's expectations. Read on for more information.

5,000 to 7,500-Mile Marks

When you first begin following a maintenance schedule, having your vehicle serviced at almost every 5,000 miles is fairly standard. That's because this interval is considered general maintenance, which includes a standard oil change, an oil filter replacement, and a tire rotation, too.

You'll find the tires on your Nissan TITAN are rotated to give them optimal traction and extend their lifespan. No matter how long you drive your car, these services should be conducted every 5,000 miles.

10,000 to 15,000 Miles

At this point in your driving experience, there are a few more parts of your vehicle that should be checked to ensure they're in the best possible shape. These visits will include inspections of the brake lines, cables, pads, rotors, and the like.

In addition, you can expect service techs to examine your vehicle's drivetrain and shaft boots and to replace the fuel filter. Then, at 15,000 miles, general maintenance will be followed with replacements for the in-cabin micro-filter and NISSAN Intelligent Key® battery.

20,000 to 30,000 Miles

Once your vehicle has reached 20,000 miles, the usual general maintenance will include brake fluid replacement. It's also a good idea to have the following components inspected, just to ensure they're operating as they should: steering gear, linkage, axle, suspension parts, exhaust system, and so on.

At 30,000 miles, you can expect a replacement of the air filter as well as other standard maintenance.

40,000 Miles, 45,000 Miles, and More

As you continue to rack up the miles on your machine, you'll start to notice a pattern. At this point, you'll see nearly every service previously listed will begin to repeat-with the exception of general maintenance, which has been repeated at every 5,000 miles. You'll also have your vehicle's drive belts inspected; and while 45,000 miles is considered a service interval, the engine coolant will need to be replaced as well.
